TeeTime Companion

Privacy

Privacy information.

This policy describes the categories of information used by TeeTime Companion and the choices available to authorized users.

Effective October 25, 2026

Information used by the app

TeeTime Companion may process authorized-user configuration, reservation information, booking activity and results, user preferences, notification settings, Calendar information, paired-device records, and technical data needed to provide the service.

Storage and security

Information is stored on authorized devices and the private Mac companion service configured for the user. Each paired iPhone receives its own connection credential. Sensitive connection information is protected using Apple platform security features, and requests are encrypted in transit.

Camera and one-time setup codes

Camera access is used only when you choose Scan to Connect to read the one-time QR code shown by TeeTime Setup on the Mac. Camera images are not stored by TeeTime Companion. The code expires after five minutes, works once, and is exchanged for a credential specific to that iPhone.

External services

The app may communicate with the private Mac companion service, the reservation platform used by the authorized user, Apple services, and a privately configured remote-connection service when access away from home is enabled. Those providers process information under their own terms and privacy practices. Infrastructure providers may process ordinary network metadata needed to operate and protect their services.

Notifications and Calendar

If enabled, Apple services process the technical information needed to deliver notifications and provide Calendar access. These permissions can be changed in iPhone Settings.

Diagnostics

The app can create a redacted diagnostic report on the user’s device. Reports are not shared automatically. Users choose whether to provide one to support.

Analytics and advertising

TeeTime Companion does not use advertising SDKs, sell personal information, or track users across apps and websites. Apple may provide aggregated diagnostic or crash information when a user has chosen to share analytics with developers.
